About the area

Cardiff, in short

Cardiff is the vibrant capital of Wales with a castle in the middle of its high streets, a national stadium three streets from the castle, and a park the size of a small county running off the back of both.

Cardiff is known for its rich history as an industrial hub, beautiful Victorian architecture, and a growing culture in sports, concerts and music festivals.

Our homes are located within easy reach of this lively city and everything you came for. You get a kitchen, a living room and somewhere to park, on a street that is quiet at midnight.

Eat and drink

Pontcanna and Canton hold most of the independent spots, and Roath has the best run of neighbourhood restaurants. The Victorian arcades in the centre are where to go for coffee and a browse out of the rain.

With children

St Fagans National Museum of History is free and fills a whole day. Techniquest in the Bay covers a wet one, and Bute Park or Roath Park lake are the easy wins when the weather holds.

Book around the fixtures

Six Nations weekends from late January to mid-March fill the city, Always book in advance to ensure you have somewhere to stay. The summer months pick up again with the city becoming host to serval concerts and live music events.

Working or studying here

Central Square beside the station has pulled a great deal of professional work into a small radius, and three universities bring families in for graduation in July and move-in weekends in September.
