Family stays with room to spread out
Two hotel rooms, a travel cot wedged beside a radiator and dinner out every night is not a comfortable family holiday. A premium home with a kitchen, a living room and separate bedrooms for the whole family is.
- Separate bedrooms, not one room for everyone
- A kitchen you can properly cook in
- Self check-in
- Cheaper and more comfortable than several hotel rooms
Why families book a self-catered holiday home
The details that decide whether a stay works, rather than the ones that photograph well.
Separate bedrooms
Homes with more than one room so children sleep somewhere other than the room you are trying to relax in.
Cook properly, spend less
A full kitchen turns four nights of restaurants into one or two. For a family of four, that saving adds up quickly.
Great locations
Our homes sit near the things families actually want: beaches, parks and walks, historical sites to fill an afternoon, and market towns or cities within reach.
Evenings once they are asleep
A living room with a door between you and the children means the evening does not begin and end with lights out.
Arrive when you arrive
Self check-in by secure key code, so a delayed journey or a late nap does not mean waiting at a reception desk with tired children.
Everything ready to go
Fresh linen and towels, full broadband, a smart TV the children can watch something on, and a starter supply of tea and coffee.
Room for everyone, ready when you arrive
Book a luxury property with the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. Space to spread out, a kitchen you can properly cook in and separate bedrooms with doors that close. It is cheaper when you book direct with us, too.

Asked and answered
Is a self-catered home better than a hotel?
For two nights or more, definitely. You get a separate living room, a well equipped kitchen and home amenities for around the price of a mid-range hotel room, and considerably less than two rooms if there are more than two of you.
Do you have dog-friendly properties?
Yes, many of our properties are pet friendly so you are more than welcome to bring the family dog. Each listing states the policy.
What is the minimum stay?
Usually two nights on most of our properties. The minimum stay on a property may vary depending on the day of the week and how far out you are looking to book. We may occasionally allow one night stays.
